Yesterday we went to the Opryland Hotel and walked around for a couple of hours. Fabulous place! I'm looking forward to staying there for the RWA Nationals in July. These pictures were taken in the Delta section of the hotel. I'd have taken more, but the batteries in my camera died. If anyone is ever in Nashville and wants to visit, you can park for free in section 6B at the mall and there's a paved path through to the hotel where you can wander around for free. There are some nice shops and restaurants there, not to mention some amazing scenery. We took a boat ride around the Delta waterway for $9 apiece, which was probably worth the price for the information, if nothing else. Beautiful place. Check it out if you get the chance. We're leaving Nashville for the lake today. No bars, no hunky cowboys, just chillin' with the girls. We'll eat too much, drink too much, lay around like slugs and watch movies all day and into the night.
