Nashville or Bust!!!!

Well, blog partners, I've done packed up my guitar and left town, heading for Music City, USA. I'll probably post some blogs from Nashville, but if I don't, please forgive me for being AWOL for a while. I promise to post some hunks so you won't get lonely.

We're on the road today and should arrive sometime this afternoon. Doubt if we'll see Willie (or anyone else you've ever heard of), but you never know, do you? We saw John Anderson the last time we were in Legends Corner, but that was just luck. Woke me up though. Not sure why, but I was exhausted the whole time we were there last year. I recall walking around the Opry Mills Mall in a daze, stopping to get a massage from some oriental guys and then Terri and I went to the oxygen bar. I'm not sure it did anything remarkable for me, but it was worth the price only because I got to sit in a vibrating recliner while I was breathing in the fruity O2.

Later on that night, I came as close to falling asleep in a bar as I ever have (my buddies still insist that I WAS asleep) but I could hear what was going on, including the conversation that they were having about needing to go after the car to take me back to the hotel. I played dumb when I "awoke" about where they had gone. I mean, when someone walks several blocks (it was freakin' cold, too!) to get the car out of the parking garage, intending to pick your tired old bones up at the curb, wouldn't you let them????

Yes, the Cat Master can be devious when the need arises. I would have done better if the tequila had been the kind I like. A drink or two usually wakes me right up, but it has to taste good. Sad, but true. I'm not that much of a lush that I don't care about the flavor. I guess I need to carry a flask of Quervo Gold with me wherever I go and just ask for an empty glass. You think they'll get suspicious????

Anyway, I'm giving the blog over to you ladies this week. I'm sure Diva Donna will keep you in line. . . NOT!!!
