After a leisurely breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, and orange juice, we got ourselves all spiffed up and went back downtown. I wouldn't have thought I'd missed anything, but apparently, I did. I also wanted to go back and by some chair cushions I'd seen on Monday and I got some jerky for Budley.
After tromping around downtown Gatlinburg for three hours or so, we met for lunch at Bubba Gump's Shrimp Company.

Our waiter was Shane, who was a good sport and a lot of fun. He didn't pose for a picture with Willy, but he did read my business card, and he brought Willy a fork and a shirt. I was holding Willy while Shane was trying to put the shirt on, and he asked me to get Willy to "let go of his package." My response was, "He can't." So we gave up on the shirt.

I ordered Lt. Dan's Drunken Shrimp for lunch, which was delicious!

For once in my life, I had room for dessert, so we ordered a Mud Pie and four spoons. It was HUGE!!!! No way one person could eat all of it, and the four of us had a little trouble.

We wound up finishing it, but this was the point at which I put down my spoon.

After lunch, Terri insisted on taking a picture of me and Shane, who was nice enough to pose with me. *wicked grin* He smelled nice, too!

Then we did some more shopping at the Tanger outlet mall. Willy stayed in the truck with the model on the brochure, who was very appreciative of his assets. Terri bought a ton of shirts, and I bought two to add to my wardrobe for the RWA National conference. I've worn the same outfit to the Rita Awards for the past two years, just getting a different top to go with it. This one is red with sequins. The Cat Master is getting downright racy in her old age!

It was getting dark when we headed back to the hotel. Willy wanted to go out barhopping, but we were all tired, so we went back to the hotel for tequila and pizza.

It's supposed to rain all day tomorrow, so who knows what we'll wind up doing. I want to go to the Lodge outlet to get a medium-sized iron skillet, but who knows what else we'll come back with. It's frightening to see what four women will buy when they've got a truck that was only half full on the trip down. One of these days, we might actually take a drive through the mountains. . .
In Sextet news, I sent my Entanglements story to the Sextet loop for critique, and Elizabeth and Mellanie seemed to like the changes I'd made to it since our get together on Saturday. It's still looking like the first anthology will be out in May. Can't wait!
Because you Yah-Yahs need a real, live hunk to ogle, I must take a dip into my Unused Hunk file and find something suitable. . . Ah, here we go. . .
Since Angela is wanting to get a tattoo, so here's a nice hunk with a tat or two for your enjoyment!
